F A Q

I'm having trouble registering. Can you help?

Yes! You can register for any week, full day, half day, full week or partial right from the website.

If you are having any trouble, please see our registration help page.

My child is not yet 8 years old and we are interested registering for FULL DAY. Is HALF DAY my only option?

This situation is handled on a case by case basis. Children under 8 who are not accustomed to the activity and attitude of Martial Arts at our programs can have a very difficult time in a full day schedule at MASI. If your child is already enrolled in Karate classes at either participating studio and knows the instructors, there is a good chance we will allow full day registration. Please contact us.

Where is drop-off and pick-up?

The entirety of the program (with the exception of any excursions) is held at our Carroll Gardens studio located at 517 Henry Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231. This is where campers can be dropped off and picked up!

How should the attendees be dressed?

Campers should arrive in comfortable clothes ready to engage in physical activity. A camp t-shirt will be provided that they can wear if they choose. Students who already have their own Gi ( karate pants/jacket) can wear/bring that as well. If a student decides they want to want to wear a traditional Gi, they may purchase one at an additional cost.

What is the exact schedule of activities?

The schedule of activities for the week will be emailed to you a few days before the week op camp begins.
